The YouTube party

Google is using 400 of their Google home Max to create one solid canvas. They then let a local graffiti artist from New York paint a big mural on it too honor hip hop.

“To commemorate this year’s Grammys, YouTube teamed up with New York born Hip Hop artist, NAS to throw a party celebrating the legacy of Hip Hop and New York. Best of all, we’ve got a booming invitation designed to blow our guests away: a custom Google Home Max tagged by New York graffiti artist CYCLE”

Kick things off you need to say to your Google home or Google Assistant “hey Google” take me to the YouTube party. As of right now you will need an invitation to get past the guy that is speaking. Things will kick off January 26th so be sure to check YouTube and do a Google search for the YouTube party. here’s the website with all the information

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 first impressions

I went to Best Buy here in Portland Oregon and was able to check out the NOTE 8 FOR MYSELF. I was amazed at the camera quality and its ability to capture a steady video while holding the phone with one hand and moving around. The quality of the display is also something that is very impressive. The screen brightness and the dynamic colors that it shows off was amazing. I had to look up the actual information myself when I got home. As of right now it has the brightest screen for any smartphone. The size of the phone is pretty ridiculous although I have large hands so it doesn’t bother me one bit. For someone with small hands however it will definitely end up being a two-handed device. The phone seemed very quick when scrolling through things like settings and then bouncing over to the camera and then opening an app. I noticed zero lag. I was skeptical when the Note 7 came out and I ordered the LG v20 instead. My fiance ordered the Note 7. I regretted ordering the lgv20 after I played around with the Note 7. However it ended up being recalled and my fiance ended up getting the LG v20. We have both been looking forward to the next Galaxy Note device. They have changed the design and overall shape and dimensions of the phone tremendously when you compare the Note 8 side-by-side with the Note 7. It will also be available in four different colors. Blue, gold, black, silver, however here in the United States on T-Mobile only the black and silver models are available. I would have loved to have ordered the blue one but that is simply not an option. I have pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 8. I ordered the black one. I will be doing a few different videos on some of the functions of the phone and can’t wait to try out the Bigsby button for myself to see if it really does function as well as everyone says it does. Currently I am using the LG v20 before that I was always using a Nexus device. This will be about my 25th Android smartphone. Can’t wait to receive it and see what all is new from a Samsung device. I have not owned a Samsung device for quite some time ‘like the Samsung Galaxy S3’ because I was not happy with all of the bloatware and lag that Samsung devices used to be known for. Before the LG v20 my last few phones were Nexus devices running stock Android and most likely rooted. so keep an I am on this website for a few different review videos of the Galaxy Note 8. Thanks for taking the time to read this story. Be sure to head over to Android related stuff on Google Plus where I will be doing a few case giveaways for the Galaxy Note 8.

Google Assistant for Android devices running 6.0 and up.

Google Assistant, that’s what’s running on Google home. As demonstrated in the video. Google Assistant will be coming to every Android smartphone that is running Android 6.0 and up. It will come through an update to Google Play services on your phone. After you receive that update, to access Google Assistant you will hold down the home button on your phone. This means your phone will act exactly the same as the Google home. This also means your phone will act as another device the Google home / assistant can talk to. You would be able to tell Google home to play a certain song on your phone and it would do it. Or tell Google home to play a YouTube video on your phone and it would do it, In theory. I still have yet to test this out myself but if it acts as another Google assistant device, or enabled device like Chromecast then it should work this way. I will definitely be posting more about it after the update rolls out. Google Assistant enabled devices can communicate with each other seamlessly. Currently I am using the LG v20 running Android 7.0 nougat . I also have  a Motorola Nexus 6 laying around with Android nougat on it as well. The update started rolling out this morning 3/3/17. Everyone should have it within one week. At least that’s what Google says. Updates start in the US and Australia first.

LG v20 Defense Fusion Fender case by cruzerlite

Great snug fit, great  design, great placement of cutouts and buttons. Overall it’s a great case. The price isn’t bad either at the time of making the video it was listed on the cruzerlite website  for only $7.99. These guys always do a phenomenal job at paying close attention to detail and it really shows in this case designed for the LG v20.
Feel free to check out my full review of the defense Fusion Defender case in all 3 colors that they offer on my YouTube channel by clicking here

Android N developer Preview 2

Android N developer Preview 2 (Build # NPC91K) looks pretty good on my Nexus 6. A couple of new features and tons of bugs have been fixed. I noticed a new icon in the previous apps once there is no apps open. There is also a clear all option at the top of the screen that I cannot remember if it was there in developer preview 1. We get VulKan added. We get some new emojis baked right into the keyboard. Split screen seems to be working much more fluidly and a lot better with just about every app that I’ve tried so far. I was able to scroll through Google+ and click on photos and web links while scrolling through the Google Play Store and downloading apps at the same time with ease.  I was doing this  while I had about 20 apps open in the background . It did not matter whether I was in landscape or portrait mode either. Now When copying and pasting  text . We get a few more options than just cut ,copy, paste. We now get share, select all, and assist. When you click on the three-dot menu icon.  If you select assist it will capture a screenshot and go into Google Now on tap. From there you can use Google Now on tap to search more about what you have highlighted. Or you can select share and share just the text that you have highlighted. I’m still digging through stuff to find out what else has been done and the differences between developer preview 1 and developer Preview 2 of Android N.
I can’t wait to see the final version of Android N.
